The term notice is from early 15c., "information, knowledge, intelligence," from Old French notece (14c.), and directly from Latin notitia "a being known, celebrity, fame, knowledge," from notus "known," past participle of (g)noscere "come to know, to get to know, get acquainted (with)."

Knowledge is the key to the future. What we learn and use enables our lives. Do we seek fame? What do we seek while using our knowledge? Do we want to thrive instead of survive? Are there more options? Using our knowledge to enable others to thrive may be the answer. The answer is always elusive.
