Foresight

The term foresight originated early 14c., "insight obtained beforehand;" also "prudence," from fore- + sight (n.). Perhaps modeled on Latin providentia. Compare German Vorsicht "attention, caution, cautiousness.

As the definition of foresight states, "insight obtained beforehand." Insight before what? Insight before the decision is foresight. How can businesses gain foresight in the decision making process? One can argue that insight in the decision making process is key. Foresight into the decision making process is where their is value. Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning is enabling foresight into the decision making process. AI in the decision making process is similar to knowing what items to put into the shopping cart while one is shopping online. Get foresight. Get business.
