Decentralized platforms, on the other hand, allow for far more privacy than a centralized network because information doesn’t have to go through one node and can instead pass through a variety of nodes. It is much more difficult to track information across a decentralized network. So, if you’re looking to protect your identity, online information, and/or transaction detail then using a decentralized system is ideal. Instead of allowing platforms like Facebook or Google to bundle up and sell your information, blockchain enables more control of your own data. Blockchain can restore control over your information and your life. Until it can't.
