Behavior

The etymology of behavior is, "manner of behaving (whether good or bad), conduct, manners," late 15c., essentially from behave, but with ending from Middle English havour "possession," a word altered (by influence of have) from aver, noun use of Old French verb aveir "to have." A customer experience trend in 2019 is to gain a more thorough understanding of what motivates consumer behavior. In particular, what motivates customers to buy products and services. The important part of understanding consumer behavior is to understand the "why" and the "why not" in the decision making process.

"Data is the new oil." How can data become information become wisdom? Artificial intelligence is changing the game of understanding consumer behavior. Chat bots are everywhere. How about "smart" survey technology? Imagine a customer survey with unlimited iterations which can help predict consumer behavior. Artificial intelligence is enabling a new understanding of consumer behavior by surveying the customer decision making process. Can AI eliminate churn?
