Solitude

The term solitude is from the mid-14c., from Old French solitude "loneliness" (14c.) and directly from Latin solitudinem (nominative solitudo) "loneliness, a being alone; lonely place, desert, wilderness," from solus "alone."

It is difficult to find solitude these days. Solitude is important for well-being. Get up early and take a walk before your neighbors are awake. Meditate. Daydream. Journal. Check into a local hotel by yourself. Take a long drive. Finding solitude will enable focus and effort.
