The term arrange is from the late 14c., arengen, "draw up a line of battle," from Old French arengier "put in a row, put in battle order" (12c., Modern French arranger), from a- "to" (see ad-) + rangier "set in a row" (Modern French ranger), from rang "rank," from Frankish *hring or a similar Germanic source, from Proto-Germanic *hringaz "something curved, circle."  

There comes a time to rearrange the lines of battle. A time to put in a row and put in battle order. A time to rank priorities. A time to rearrange life. Not everything needs to be rearranged. Only some things need to be rearranged. Finding the "somethings" to rearrange is the difficult part.
