ISO

An ISO or Independent Sales Organization began in the early 200os and is the name given to a company that sells credit card processing services under its own company name. An ISO is a sales force for hire used by acquirers that do not wish to staff and manage a sales force internally. Generally, ISO sales representatives receive a commission for each merchant they sign. An Independent Sales Rep, also known as a Manufacturer's Rep, is an independent contractor paid on a commission basis to represent your service or product lines in a specific region.
