Continuity

January 9, 2019

The origin of continuity is from early 15c., "uninterrupted connection of parts in space or time," from Old French continuite, from Latin continuitatem (nominative continuitas) "a connected series," from continuus "joining, connecting with something; following one after another," from continere (intransitive) "to be uninterrupted," literally "to hang together." Business continuity should be easier in 2019. Diligence is the key to business continuity. Business should be easier to "hang together." The world of technology in 2019 has enabled us to see Ultima Thule. On earth there are many disruptions to technologies and networks making it more difficult to keep businesses running. It is essential to have a plan should a disaster strike. Re-evaluate your supply chain. Where are the weaknesses? Cybersecurity is the hot topic in 2019. Where does your business stand should "one risk follow another?" Mitigate risks.
