BaaS

Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) was introduced on October 31, 2008. BaaS is an offering that allows customers to leverage cloud-based solutions to build, host and use their own blockchain apps, smart contracts, and functions on the blockchain. The cloud-based service provider manages all the necessary tasks and activities to keep the infrastructure agile. BaaS is a way to rent a blockchain from a blockchain hosting provider who takes care of getting started and having the required blockchain deployed and configured to your choice within minutes on their own servers. IBM, Microsoft, Tencent, Baidu, SAP, and Amazon offer BaaS. Does BaaS enable stronger performance? Industry 4.0 is working to answer that question.
